Procedure

ELIGIBILITY

The CLPF concentrates its research in the fields of microbiology, immunology, virology and related fields of research.

These fellowships are offered to post-doctoral or equivalent level researchers.

The eligibility criteria are similar to those required by the Canadian Institutes for Health Research.

ACADEMIC INSTITUTIONS

Fellowships may be taken up at three preferred locations:

a) Pasteur Institute in Paris can accept researchers holding Canadian citizenship in any and all laboratories, subject to availability of workstations.
Applicants for bursaries must first contact the Canadian Louis Pasteur Foundation. Applications may be submitted at any time and will be assessed in accordance with the candidates' requirements but taking into account available research capacity at the Pasteur Institute laboratories in Paris.

b) Further to the accreditation of INRS-Institut Armand-Frappier of Montréal, within the Pasteur Institute international network, the CLPF concluded a partnership agreement with the Armand-Frappier Foundation allowing the CLPF to subsidize researchers in the Institut Armand-Frappier laboratories. The eligibility criteria for these researchers are established by the Fondation Armand-Frappier, without restrictions on the citizenship of the applicant.

The candidates for these fellowships must apply directly to:



c) The Department of microbiology and immunology as well as the Centre of excellence CANVAC and the IRIC (Institut de recherche en immunologie et cancérologie) of the University of Montreal may accept researchers subsidized by the CLPF, thanks to the generous contribution of one of our donators; Mr Michel Saucier. These fellowships will be awarded directly by the University. Applications must therefore be made directly to the Director of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology of the University of Montréal.
